Good old Memento Eden, huh.  I gather from the sea of general surprise and amazement that I'm caught up in some time traveling event or other.

Now if I was smart, I'd write out my life history and save myself the trouble of having to remember things as I go along -- But ten to one that would cause some sort of time paradox and screw up the world.  Dhaos had enough fun with that business, thanks very much.  Though on the flip side, maybe Cless and the others would have to come find me again.  Heh.  Anyway, I've got some better things to do with my time.  Namely . . .

Guardian of all space and dimensions, ruler o'er the ever flowing stream of time, I call thee forth from the ether in which you wait.  On the binding magic of this ring the pact was made -- Heed the call of the summoner, Klarth F. Lester!  Origin!

((Klarth is approximately 5 years in his future, from after the end of Tales of Phantasia, Tales of the World: Summoner's Lineage, and Narikiri Dungeon 1.  He looks exactly the same; his behavior is a bit more mellow after having settled down with Miranda. The 5% will go towards his full name and everything concerning his occupation.))

Er... but I haven't known you for that long. A month maybe?

...Awww, come on!! It's not like I'd get anything out of going to school anyway! I hear that after a certain age it gets harder to learn things, so all the teachers' efforts 'd be wasted on a guy like me!

Besides! I actually remembered some stuff! I don't need school! Although it probably isn't really helpful information in the long run... Just about my family and my "family" and where I live.

Uh--!! I don't think I'm that old!! I mean I guess!? I mean it's not like my hair's turning white and falling out yet or anything, although I guess 75 isn't that old to some people...

Yeah, I did actually! I got stuck as a little kid about two weeks ago, and now I remember some of what happened. It's still a little fuzzy, but, I can remember Noishe and my dad, and a little about my parents, and Iselia.

You mean you've remembered stuff now. Oh, right... well, obviously! Those spells or whatever they were sounded like they'd be really cool if you could get them to work!

That's right. Summon Spirits, to be exact -- Magical beasts, as well, though I've never done anything with those.

Of course! . . . if there was anything to summon. The only magical beasts I can think of are those exploding penguins and I'm none too keen on approaching the demoness.

Hey, my spelling isn't that bad! "Iselia" is definitely how you spell Iselia. Aselia sounds a little different, so it's gotta be spelled different. I think.

Er... either way, Iselia. It's a little town in the woods. Lots of monsters running around, lots of trees. I think there might be a temple around but I'm not totally sure.

We have demons here, too?

More than a single vowel difference, I suppose. Aselia is, like I said, an entire world. Monsters running around everywhere, too.

Of course. There are a few around. They're fairly obvious to pick out. Short and winged.
