To test out my latest theory, of course. In addition to spirits, you see, magic beasts and beings from the realm of makai are also capable of forming pacts with a summoner.

And oh, yes, he was quite popular with the ladies for a while.

Ah, I see! How interesting! I don't believe that my world had such practices in regards to magic...or at least, not exactly so. Anima magic in general requires the presence and communion with anima spirits.

That's not really the point. The point is to see if this works at all. It's an ancient magic that hasn't been studied properly for centuries; I used it back home, but it seems to have deserted me here on this island. Presumably because my contracts are out of range.

The contract is easily broken -- You, as the Summoned Beast, can break it at any time if you feel that I abuse it. Or if you just don't like me. I, as the Summoner, can call you to my side; I can also dismiss you, whereupon you return to wherever you were before.
