Fighting of the Spirit
My apologies for the delay, Ratatosk. All preparations are ready. Should any witnesses care to be present in case anything gets out of hand, you are welcome to observe.
((Was gonna do a long, well thought out post, but it's a total copout instead, sorry. =( ))

Let's just get this done already.

[Impressive though they may seem, the magic circles are nearly entirely useless. Klarth knows this. Regardless, line up in front of the circle that he directed Emil towards is a set of rings.]
Choose the Pact Ring that resonates with you most strongly.
((He has the choice between pretty much any semi-precious stone -- Topaz, Aquamarine, Ruby, Diamond, Lapis Lazuli, etc.))

That one.

Interesting. The same as Maxwell's choice . . . Ah, right then. Let's begin.
[Klarth takes the Turquoise Ring and places it in the palm of his hand. As he begins to speak, whether due to the magic circles or otherwise, a ring of light begins to shimmer underneath his feet. This is, he trusts, a good sign.]
Now! Ratatosk. Unknown spirit or beast of mana, dweller of Daemonium though you may be . . . I beseech you. When the Summoner thus requires it, come to his aid as the contracted Spirit. Do you willingly make this pledge?

Yes. I, Ratatosk...
[There should probably be some kind of descriptor here, but since he doesn't know what to describe himself with he just goes on.]
...agree to this contract. Should you ever call for my aid, I will come.

[A true magic circle had opened beneath his feet, shining with a radiant green glow. In acknowledgment of the Summoner's words, the Turquoise Ring flashed several times as a light wind swirled gently about both Klarth and Emil. In a few more moments, everything died down. Klarth opened his eyes.]
. . . I'm going out on a limb here, but I'm guessing that was a successful contract. Which confirms that you're a spirit or demon inhabiting Emil's body.

Fine. Yeah, it'd probably be better to wait. The other Emil is a fool, but I'm not looking to leave him an empty shell.
